Paul Cutright - Fine Artist
I am drawn to beauty and the mysterious in a strong desire to feel connected to the beauty and mystery that, for me, is the very essence of this life we all share. And to explore and share my vision of same photographically.
Having left my home in New Orleans in 1970 on a cross country road trip in search of adventure and my future, I met both and more in San Francisco. I discovered photography and the San Francisco Art Institute in North Beach and never looked back.
I entered SFAI in 1971 and graduated two years later with a BFA in Fine Art Photography. I have since had gallery shows, been published in photography books, photographed oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, shot weddings, product catalogues, environmental portraits, rock & roll bands and more. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to photograph all around the world.
